Welcome!
Growing up, I almost always had a bow in my hair. My mom made sure that before I left the house, a ribbon completed my look. If it wasn’t a bow in the hair, it was most definitely a bow somewhere on the outfit or shoes. When my husband and I were dating, I met one of his good friends. She immediately remembered me and said “We went to elementary school together… you were the bow girl!” Then, out came her old yearbooks to show me the evidence in pictures. Things haven’t changed much. I still am drawn to anything with ribbons and bows on them. To me there is nothing cuter than a girl with a bow in her hair – it is the ultimate in girliness. So, what else can I do with that love, then make bows?
In 2005, a friend of mine asked me to make a few bows for her girls. I gladly agreed, not realizing that I was actually agreeing to an even crazier life mixed with teaching school and making bows, and little did my husband know that he would never see the kitchen table cleared off again! Over time this little hobby has grown and grown, thanks to all of you!
Thank you for joining me in this love…
